This is our flagship build, and it's not a side option next to something else. Uncle Josh's is a steel-only crew — every structure we put up is 100% steel, zero wood framing, from a single-bay garage to a commercial shop. Our all-steel buildings are the biggest, tallest version of that: engineered steel-tube framing instead of dimensional steel posts, built for the jobs that need real height, real span, and real daily use.
Two of our real jobs, Keith's Dog Training Building and Ron's Dump Truck Building, are both this construction type. If you've seen photos of either one, that's what an all-steel build looks like up close.
What It's Good For
All-steel tube-frame construction tends to make the most sense when:
- You're building at a larger, commercial scale and need the extra structural capacity
- The building is going to see heavy daily use, like a working shop, an equipment building, or a business space
- You want a clear-span interior with real height and no interior columns
- You want the most rot- and rust-resistant frame we build, full stop
Keith's Dog Training Building is a good example of the interior payoff: a wide-open, insulated, clear-span space, bright and finished inside, built so Keith could actually run a business in it — no support posts breaking up the floor.
Ron's Dump Truck Building shows the commercial end of this line: tall enough and open enough to house real equipment, with a roll-up door sized to actually use rather than just look good closed.
Clear-Span, Explained
"Clear-span" means no interior support posts or columns. The whole width of the building is open floor. For a working shop, a training facility, or equipment storage, that's the difference between a building that fits your equipment and one you're constantly working around.

Steel Building FAQs
What's the real difference between a steel pole barn and an all-steel building? Both are 100% steel — we don't build anything else. A steel pole barn uses steel posts set as the frame, in the same classic pole-barn shape and size range. An all-steel building steps up to engineered steel-tube framing, which handles bigger spans, taller clear heights, and heavier daily use. Think of it as the same no-wood promise, scaled up for commercial-grade jobs.
How is this different from the wood pole barns other builders sell? Most pole barns you'll see quoted around here still use wood posts as the load-bearing frame. Ours don't — we build steel-only across the board, and an all-steel building is the top of that line: steel-tube framing built for the largest, hardest-working structures. No wood posts, no rot conversation, no termite conversation, at any scale we build.
Can an all-steel building be used for a business, like a shop or training facility? Yes — that's exactly what Keith's Dog Training Building is. Commercial and business-use buildings are a natural fit for this construction type, especially at larger scale.
Is all-steel construction better for Poconos winters? Steel resists the rot and pest issues that wood posts deal with over time, which matters in a climate with real winters. We design every building with local snow loads and your township's code in mind.
Can I finish the interior later if I start with a shell? Yes. A lot of our customers start with the shell and add insulation, electrical, and interior finish work as budget allows. Just tell us that's the plan going in, and we'll build it in a way that makes finishing later straightforward.
